JT-Line’s traditional paddle wheel vessel Vispilä will operate scheduled departures from Helsinki Market Square to Korkeasaari Zoo daily from 1.6.-31.8.2024. In addition, the route will be operated with one of our wooden waterbuses, M/s Hymy or M/s Ilves, during the weekends (Sat-Sun) in May 4.-26.5.2024 and September 1.-29.9.2024.

Korkeasaari Zoo was founded in 1889, and is one of the oldest zoos in the world. The zoo's 150 animal species and almost 1,000 plant species tell about the diversity of nature. About a third of Korkeasaari's animal species are endangered.

Korkeasaari is a popular excursion destination, and the island also has a souvenir shop, two restaurants and kiosks, and the opportunity to eat your own snacks at, for example, barbecue places.
