The Museum of Technology tells the story of technology in Finland. The Museum, founded in 1969, is located in the Old Town of Helsinki. It’s the only general museum of technology in Finland.

To reach the Finnish Museum of Technology from Stop 1 of the Hop On Hop Off bus:

  1. Hop off at Stop 1, located near the Senate Square (Unioninkatu in front of Neuhaus Cafe).

  2. Walk to the nearest tram stop, which is on Aleksanterinkatu Street. From Senate Square, head towards the Aleksanterinkatu tram stop, which is a short walk away.

  3. Take Tram Line 7H heading towards Meilahden sairaala - Pasila as. - Koskelan halli Line.

  4. Ride the tram until you reach the station "Sumatrantie." This tram journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

  5. Once you arrive at the tram stop, get off and walk south on Viikintie for about 10 minutes until you reach the Finnish Museum of Technology (Tekniikan Museo). Follow the signs; the museum is located in a park by the river.
