The Museum of Technology tells the story of technology in Finland. The Museum, founded in 1969, is located in the Old Town of Helsinki. It’s the only general museum of technology in Finland.

The Museum can be reached from Rautatientory (via Kaisaniemi Park) by buses 71 and 78. Get off at the "Tekniikanmuseo" stop.

You can also take tram line 6 directly from Rautatientori (stop Central Railway Station). Get off at the "Arabianranta" stop. From there, it is approximately a 1.2 km walk to the museum (about 18 minutes).

Alternatively, you can take tram lines 7 and 8: start with tram lines 7  from the Central Railway Station stop, change to tram 8 in Sörnäinen, and get off at the "Arabianranta" stop. The walking distance to the museum is about 1.2 km (approximately 18 minutes).
